Buck and Confer Named #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week

Alfred State lacrosse player Aaron Buck (Churchville Chili) and baseball player Jordyn Confer (Tioga, PA) have been named the #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the week.

Buck had a monster game in the Pioneers come-from-behind 18-17 victory over Houghton. He netted a career high 10 goals and passed out three asissts. He scored two in the 1st, two in the 2nd, three in the 3rd, and three in the 4th. Buck, who missed the last two contests, now has 33 goals on the year.

Confer led the team this past week by going 6 for 9. He also drove in three runs. On the mound he picked up a save in the final game of the series vs. SUNY Canton. The baseball team finished last week with a 3-3 record.
