Allison Danielak (Brockport) made 12 saves, including numerous point blank opportunities, in the Alfred State 1-0 overtime loss to SUNY ESF on Saturday.
The Lady Pioneers and Mighty Oaks battled back and forth for over 96 minutes (96:47) until Anna Bishop was able to sneak a shot into the far corner of the net after getting a crossing pass from Heather Carl.
SUNY ESF outshot the Alfred State 23 to 7 in the game. Kiki Hilmer made six saves for ESF.
The blue & gold will look to bounce back on Wednesday evening when they travel to Houghton for a 7:30 p.m. contest with the Highlanders.
