Women's Soccer Rolls Past Villa

The Alfred State women's soccer team raced to a 12-0 victory over Villa Maria on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Pioneers are now 7-7 on the year.
Nine different Pioneers found the back of the net in the contest. Kylie Newman (Waverly) led the way with three goals and an assist while Brooke Geibel (Arkport) scored once and passed out three assists. Michayla Salatel (Geneseo) had a goal and two assists, Nittayaporn Saoro (Victor) found the back of the net twice, and Melissa Mineti (Livonia) had a goal and an assist.
Julia Yanarella (Roy Ketcham), Jenna Martin (Cattaraugus Little Valley), Taylor Dechow (Randolph), and Jessica Rowe (Jasper Troupsburg) all recorded one goal. Kylie DeWilde (Midlakes) earned her first victory with a shutout in net.
The Lady Pioneers wrap up the regular season on Tuesday when they battle Elmira at 7 p.m.
