Mosier and Kruger Share #PioneerPinpoint Athlete of the Week Honors

Alfred State softball players Aubri Mosier (Rome, PA) and Stormi Kruger (Medina) share #PioneerPinpoint Athlete of the Week honors after leading the Lady Pioneer offense to a 5-3 week.

Mosier started all eight games last week and led the team with a .393 batting average (11 for 28). She collected three doubles, six RBI, and scored six runs.

Mosier has been on a tear in the last two weeks raising her season batting average from .229 to .333 by hitting .419 (18 for 43). She has collected six doubles and driven in nine during this stretch.

Kruger hit .333 this past week (9 for 27) and scored a team high 11 runs. She collected two doubles, hit her third homer of the season, and drove in nine runs.

On the year, Kruger has started in all 32 games and has a .330 batting average and has a team high 21 RBI and 26 runs scored.

The Lady Pioneers (11-21 overall and 10-10 since returning from Florida) are back in action on Wednesday when they host Penn College at 3:30 p.m.
