Pioneers Drop Game Against Brockport

The Alfred State Women's Basketball team traveled to Brockport and lost 78-41.

 The Blue and Gold's leading scorer was Taylor Benjamin (Newark Valley, NY / Newark Valley). For the second straight game, her 13-point total was most on the team. Benjamin shot 5-13 from the field, knocked down a three pointer and grabbed eight boards on the game. In Falyn Lewis-Ellison's (Rexville, NY / Whitesville) first game of the season, she tallied 12 points. Lewis Ellison's season debut was productive, shooting 50% from the field, with a 5-10 performance. Lewis-Ellison will surely be a welcomed addition in the Pioneers offense leading into the conference season. 

Stephanie Jean-Baptiste was the leading scorer for the Brockport Golden Eagles, she went 5-10 from the field with four three-pointers, scoring 17 points.

Alfred State is back in action on Saturday, December 10. They travel to Wells for a 1 p.m. game.
