Men's Basketball Helps with Playground Rennovation
The Alfred State men's basketball team donated time and helped with the playground renovation of Mike Kenyon Children's Park in downtown Alfred.
Twelve members of the team along with Coach Jerry Jusianiec spent several hours in late September working on the project that entailed washing, sanding, and painting the park. The project also included various construction and maintenance projects to enhance the 20-year park.
This is the second civic engagement project that the men's basketball team has been part of this year. Earlier they hosted a blood drive for the Community Blood Bank.
