Hooping for a Cure for Cystic Fibrosis

The Alfred State athletic department has teamed up with the Cystic Fibrosis chapter from Rochester to spread awareness and raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. Hooping for a Cure will take place when the men's basketball takes on Keuka on Wednesday, November 19th at 7 p.m. in the Orvis Activities Center.

Alfred State would like to begin their home season with a win and help raise funds for a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is the number one genetic disease in the word, effecting more than 100,000 people worldwide. Alfred State will be holding a number of fundraising opportunities throughout the event; Raffles, 50/50, Bike challenge, Donations, and the 2RW challenge.
