Pitt-Bradford won the contest when they took advantage of a throwing error in the bottom of the 7th.

Courtney McDaniel (Arkport) and Amanda Rockefeller (Bolivar Richburg) each finished 2 for 3 for the blue & gold. Hartman's 7th inning single was her 100th of her career at Alfred State.

In the nightcap, the Lady Pioneers were held to just five hits by the duo of Cassidy Lewis and Liz Dzurisin. Melissa Barber (Nassau/Catholic Central) collected the lone extra base hit in the game for Alfred with a double in the 7th.

The Panthers scored a pair of runs in the 2nd on a 2-RBI double by Natalie Hardin and added to their lead in the 3rd when Nicole Nolte connected on a 2-run homer.

The Lady Pioneers head to SUNY Canton on Saturday for a Noon (please note new start time) doubleheader with the Kangaroos.
