Baseball Announces Spring Trip Schedule

The Alfred State baseball team will travel to the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational in mid March.  The Pioneers are slated to play nine games during their eight day trip in Winter Haven, FL.

After a practice day, the blue & gold will open up their week in Florida with a doubleheader with Beloit (WI) College (11-21 in 2013).  The Pioneers take on Framingham (MA) State (17-23 in 2013) in a doubleheader on the 16th and play Keene (NH) State (18-23 in 2013) in a single game on the 17th.

After a day off, Alfred battle Rutgers (NJ) Camden (23-19 in 2013) on the 19th, Hamilton (NY) College (16-21 in 2013) in a doubleheader on the 20th, and closes out the trip with a single game vs. Babson (MA) College (22-18 in 2013) on the 21st.

Prior to the trip the blue & gold will make two trips to battle USCAA competition. The team will play a three-game series at Apprentice (March 1-2) and a three-game trip at West Virginia Tech (March 8-9).
