Lady Pioneers Climb Up to #4

The Alfred State women's basketball team climbed up one more spot in the lastest USCAA Division I poll. The 16-6 Lady Pioneers are now ranked #4 in the last regular season poll of the season.

The blue & gold are 11-3 in the 2015 portion of their season and have climbed up from the #10 ranking two weeks ago to the #4 ranking.

Alfred State has two regular season games remaining - they host SUNY Canton tomorrow afternoon at Noon and then head to Davis College on Tuesday. The Pioneers defeated both of those opponents in their first match-ups.

Concordia-Alabama is ranked #1 followed Iowa Wesleyan, University of Dallas, Alfred State, and the Apprentice School. Berea College, Silver Lake, Daemen, Carlow, and Indiana-South Bend, and St. Joseph's-Brooklyn round out the top ten.

Bids for the USCAA Division I tournament will be announced at 5 p.m. on Monday, February 23rd.
