Miketish and Taggart Named USTFCCCA All-Academic - Team Named All-Academic

Marina Mikestish (Olean) and Emma Taggart (New Windsor, MD) have been named USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes. The pair are part of the 650 women who were honored in NCAA Division III Track & Field. The women's track team as a whole was also honored as an All-Academic Team.

To be eligible a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. They also have to be among the top 50 individuals as listed on the descending order list on TFRRS.

  • Miketish, a Mechanical Engineering major, was 49th overall in the heptathlon with 3,839 points
  • Taggart, a Computer Information Systems and Network Administration major, was 38th overall in the heptathlon with a school record score of 4,013 points.

For a team to honored as an All-Academic Team it must have a team GPA of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility of 3.1 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Pioneers have a 3.37 overall GPA
