Swim Teams Dives into New Season
The Alfred State swimming team dove into the 2015-16 season with a 4th place finish at the Panther Relays held at Pitt-Bradford. The combined men's and women's team scored 94 points on the day.
The women's 300 yard breaststroke relay team of Myriah Perry (Canisteo Greenwood), Megan Hendershot (Brockport), Josey Brewer (Letchworth), and Allison Sell (Hanover, PA) won in 4:11.66. Brewer, Hendershot, Fox, and Sell finished 3rd in the 400 medley relay (5:01.22).
The mixed relay team of Fox, Sell, Zach Russell (Pal Mac), and Kyle Sporysz (Cuba Rushford) finished 2nd in the 200 Medley Relay in 1:55.47.
Andrew Callaghan (Pal Mac), Alex Ciolex (Orchard Park), Don Piatek (Springville Griffith), and Bryce Cutler (Newton, NJ) finished 3rd in the 300 backstroke (3:05.68) while Wyatt Lipinski (Oswego), Chris Greco (Geneva), Tim Seitzinger (Bel Air, MD), and JP Holubek (Wayland Cohocton) finished 3rd in the 300 breaststroke (3:36.95).
The mixed relay team of Brewer, Perry, Jake Sitter (Midlakes), and Andrew Scelta (Warwick) finished 3rd in 1:55.44.
Penn State Behrend took the team title with 248 points.
