Lady Spikers Tied for 3rd in Latest Poll

The Alfred State volleyball team is tied for the #3 spot in the latest USCAA poll. The Lady Pioneers are tied with Maine Fort Kent for the position. 

Florida National is still ranked #1 followed by defending national champion Florida College. Alfred State and Maine Fort Kent are tied for 3rd with 335 points. Penn State Fayette, Rochester (MI), Johnson & Wales, Carlow, Penn State Mont Alto and Penn State Brandywine round out the top ten.

Alfred State and Maine Fort Kent battle next Friday (10/14) in the first day of the Alfred Tournament. 

The Lady Pioneers are currently 12-0 and one of the last undefeated teams in NCAA DIII play.

Alfred State plays four times this weekend at the Lycoming Tournament. They take on Gettysburg and the University of Rochester on Friday and Wilkes and Lycoming on Saturday.

The USCAA National Tournament will feature 10 teams playing in Virginia Beach, VA between November 10-12.
