Alfred State Releases Baseball Schedule
The Alfred State baseball team will look to build on the momentum of a strong finish in 2015 as they open up practice in the next few days. The Pioneers schedule features 40 games with contests in Virginia, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and New York.
The Pioneers will open up their season in Virginia with a three-game set at Eastern Mennonite on the final weekend in February. The team will head back south during spring break when they travel to the Cal Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, SC. The blue & gold will play eight games during their nine-day stay.
The northern portion of their schedule features contests versus Empire 8, NEAC, AMCC, and SUNYAC foes.
If the 2016 Pioneers are able to build on last season's late success they will look to make it to the USCAA Championships which will be held in Glens Falls, NY, May 8-12.
