Jenkins and Van Fleet Earn ECFC Honors
Aaron Jenkins (Canfield, OH) and Rylie Van Fleet (Maine Endwell) have earned ECFC honors after Alfred State's 35-28 victory at Defiance on Saturday.
Jenkins was named Offensive Player of the Week after he passed for 172 yards and two scores and rushed for 94 yards and two scores. He threw TD passes of 23 and 37 yards and rushed in from 3 and 1 yards.
Van Fleet was named Defensive Player of the Week after his huge day vs. Defiance. He finished he day with three interceptions which all led to touchdown drives. He was also credited with 101 of returns on the day on the three interceptions. He also led the team with 6 tackles and one pass breakup.
Anna Maria's Deandre Wallace was named the Rookie of the Week while his teammate Jude Simpson was named the Special Teams Player of the Week. The AMCATS earned a big 29-24 victory at Coast Guard.
