Roberts Earns USCAA Honor

Alfred State freshmen Quadrelle Roberts (Rochester/Franklin) has been named the USCAA DI men's basketball player of the week. Roberts is the first Pioneer winter athlete to earn a honor from the USCAA.

Roberts was 7 for 15 and connected on four 3-pointers in the Pioneers contest vs. Houghton. He led the team with 19 points and added four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. On Saturday, in a victory over SUNY ESF, Roberts connected on seven 3-pointers and led the Pioneers with 21 points. He also grabbed four boards and four assists.

On the week he was 11 for 21 from three on the week and scored 40 total points. On the year, he has connected on 29 three's and is averaging 10 points per game.

Roberts was honored by the USCAA with Sam Roselli (Penn State DuBois), Danaisa Duma (Warren Wilson), and Rachel Williams (Iowa Wesleyan).
