Hamilton Named All-Tournament
Alfred State junior middle hitter Janae Hamilton (Ellicottville) was named to the USCAA All-Tournament team.
Hamilton led the team with 60 kills. She recorded a .261 hitting percentage on the week and recorded 12 digs, and 5.5 blocks. She had 18 kills in the quarterfinal victory over Carlow and added another 14 kills in the 3rd place match vs. Rochester.
On the year, Hamilton has 306 kills and has a .360 hitting percentage. She also has 98 digs and 52 solo blocks.
The Lady Pioneers finished 4th at the USCAA Championships and are 27-10 on the year. They were making their second consecutive trip to the championships.
