Hamilton and Nelson Named #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week
Junior volleyball player Janae Hamilton (Ellicotville) and junior football player Kenneth Nelson (Oakland, CA) have been named the Alfred State #PioneerPinpoint athletes of the week.
Hamilton helped the Lady Pioneers to another 3-0 week with a solid weekend. She finished the week with 31 kills, nine blocks, and eight service aces. On the year she has a team hight 59 kills and 16 blocks.
Nelson led the Alfred State defense with 13 tackles in their contest with Husson. Six of the tackles were solo. On the year he is tied for the team high with 19 tackles (seven solo and one for a loss).
