Thiel and Curran Named #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week

Track and Field athletes Lindsey Thiel (Liverpool) and Zach Curran (Williamson) have been named the #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week.

Thiel was 10th in the 5,000 m race at the Ithaca Invitational on Saturday crossing the finish line in 19:34.93. Her finish puts her 3rd in the school all-time indoor record book.

Curran was the top Pioneer finisher in the heptathlon at the Ithaca Multi. He scored 3,569 points which is the 6th best in school history. His top performances came when he scored 619 points in the 1,000 m (3:04.70), scored 592 points in the 60 m (7.89) scored 590 points in the pole vault (3.90 m).
