Pioneer Track in the Polls
After three straight weeks of impressive showings, the Alfred State indoor track and field team has made strides in the NCAAA DIII indoor track & field rankings released by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The women's team is ranked 18th out of 44 teams in the Atlantic region and 113th out of 144 teams ranked in all of NCAA DIII. Victoire Kothor (Rochester/Greece Odyssey) is mentioned based on her strong performances in the weight throw (ranked 20th - 16.42 m) and the shot put (24th - 13.11 m).
The men's team is ranked 27th out of 44 teams in the Atlantic region.
The Pioneers have this weekend off but return to action on February 20th at Brockport.
