Kothor Wins ECAC Title
Victoire Kothor (Rochester/Greece Odyssey) won the ECAC Championship in the shot put on Friday night. Kothor becomes the first Pioneer to win an ECAC individual title.
Kothor registered a toss of 13.85 m to claim the title. The toss broke her own school record and put her on top of the 26 competitors.
Richard Krouse (Eden) had a solid first day in the heptathlon. He has recorded better finishes in each of the first four events of the two-day event. His solid day included a first place finish in the high jump (1.94 m - 749 points).
Kothor will compete in the weight throw on Saturday while Krouse will wrap up competition in the heptathlon.
