Chambers Honored by Region III
Desmond Chambers (Rochester/Gates Chili) has been named the Region III co-male athlete of the week. Chambers won three Region III Championships on Friday as Alfred State won the program's 10th Regional Title.
Chambers won the 60 m (7.12), the 200 (23.03), and the long jump (7.08 m). His leap of 7.08 m in the long jump was 1st overall in the competition that featured 50 competitors.
Chambers and Travis Nagle (Randolph) will head to Texas Tech University next week for the NJCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championships.
