4 x 400 Competes at Penn Relays

The Alfred State men's 4x400 relay team shaved eight seconds off their season best time as they competed at the prestigious Penn Relays.  The Pioneers quartet finished 3rd in their heat, 4th in NJCAA schools, and 54th overall.

The Pioneers crossed the finish line in 3:22.87.  Nate Andres (Arcade/Pioneer) ran the opening leg in 49.7, followed by Ismail El-Amin (Rochester/Wilson) ran a 49.6, Josiah Thomas (Rochester/John Marshall) ran a 52.1 and Brian Tubbs (Chemung/Waverly) closed in 51.6.

There were 69 teams ranging from NCAA DI to NJCAA schools competed in one of nine heats of the 4x400.
