Pfleghardt Honored by the USCAA
Kay Pfleghardt (Tioga) has been named the USCAA Volleyball Player of the week. Pfleghardt had been named Alfred State's #PinpointPioneer Player of the Week earlier in the day.
In fourteen sets during the USCAA Tip-off tournament at Penn State Beaver, Pfledhardt recorded 4.36 kills per set for a total of 61 kills. She also managed to tally 72 digs throughout the tournament.
For her efforts, Pfleghardt earned a spot on the All-Tournament team and helped her team to a second place finish.
Also participating in the USCAA Tip-Off Tourney was Robert Morris University Springfield, Rochester College, Penn State Beaver, and Penn State Greater Allegheny.
Pfleghardt and the Lady Pioneers travel to Penn Yan on Saturday to take on Keuka and Utica.
