Pfleghardt Named #PioneerPinpoint Athlete of the Week

Alfred State senior Kay Pfleghardt (Tioga) has been named the first #PioneerPinpoint athlete of the week for the 2014-15 school year.  Pfleghardt was an all-tournament team selection this weekend at the USCAA Tip-off Tournament.

Pfleghardt recorded 61 kills (4.36 per set) and registered 72 digs (5.14 per set) in the Lady Pioneers 3-2 week.  She also had nine service aces on the week.  She recorded a season high 19 kills in the championship match vs. Rochester (MI) College.

Pfleghardt is the first Lady Pioneer volleyball player participating in her fourth year on the team.

The athletic department encourages twitter followers  to use the #PioneerPinpoint to salute an outstanding performance by Alfred State athletes.  Each week an athlete of the week will be selected from those that were  spotlighted during the past week.
