Williams Honored by USCAA for Second Straight Week
Rasheed Williams (Swedesboro, NJ) has been named the USCAA offensive player of the week for the second consecutive week. Williams rushed for over 100 yards in the Pioneers 35-21 loss to Rochester.
Williams rushed for 130 yards on 20 carries to register his second straight 100-yard rushing performance. He scored on a 10-yard TD run in the 1st quarter and then rushed in from 80-yards out in the 4th quarter to give the Pioneers a 21-20 lead. He also caught six passes for 42 yards in the contest.
On the year, Williams has 285 yards on 50 carries (5.7 per carry) and three scores.
Williams and the Pioneers battle Husson on Saturday starting at Noon.
