Williams Named #PioneerPinpoint and USCAA Athlete of the Week

Rasheed Williams (Swedesboro, NJ) has been named the #PioneerPinpoint and USCAA Athlete of the Week after his record breaking day in Saturday's 44-30 victory over Apprentice. This is the second time Williams has been honored with #PioneerPinpoint award and fourth time he has earned USCAA honors.

Williams rushed for 313 yards on 27 carries last week for an average of 11.6 per carry. He also broke the school's record with five touchdowns (68, 69, 3, 48, and 19 yards) on the day.

On the day, he eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark (1,092) for the season and is now Alfred State's all-time leading rusher (2,109). The previous record was held by Leroy Collins (1,880 yards).

Williams has rushed for over 100 yards in each of the Pioneers first five games. Alfred State has this week off but returns to action on Oct. 18th vs. Erie CC.
