Alfred State Announces 2015 Schedule
The 2015 Alfred State football team will enter their third year of NCAA DIII competition with a slate of ten contests. The Pioneers, who will be led by new head coach Jarod Dodson, are scheduled to play five at home and five on the road.
The blue & gold open up 2015 with two straight home contests. They battle William Paterson from the NJAC on September 5th and then host Husson the next weekend in the college's homecoming game on September 12th.
The Pioneers hit the road for their next three contests with trips to the University of Rochester (9/19), Castleton State (9/26), and the College at Brockport (10/3).
After a bye week, the second half of the season begins as Alfred State hosts USCAA rival Apprentice on October 17th. The home team has won every contest in the series thus far.
A Friday night clash with St. John Fisher is slated for October 23rd and a trip to Kentucky Wesleyan for a Halloween contest rounds out the road schedule.
Alfred State finishes the season with two home contests starting with a contest with Maranatha Baptist on November 7th. The team closes out the season vs. Morrisville one week later.
