Williams Named #PioneerPinpoint Athlete of the Week
Rasheed Williams (Swedesboro, NJ) continued his impressive start to the 2014 season with another big game as Alfred State battled Husson last weekend. Williams recorded his 3rd straight 100-yard rushing game of the season.
Williams finished with 234 yards rushing on 27 carries. He scored his 4th rushing touchdown of the season on a 75-yard run in the 2nd quarter.
He now has 519 yards on 77 carries in the blue & gold's first three games. He leads the USCAA in rushing and would be 2nd in NCAA DIII if Alfred State was not a provisional member.
Williams will look to continue his impressive season on Saturday when the Pioneers battle Castleton State at 1 p.m.
