Littlejohn and Garbowski Earn USCAA Honors
Romiio Littlejohn (Brooklyn) and John Garbowski (Mohegan Lake) have been honored by the USCAA. Littlejohn was named the special team's player of the week while Garbowski was named defensive player of the week.
Littlejohn returned three kickoffs for 123 yards in the contest vs. Apprentice on Saturday. His 82-yard kick return in the 4th quarter resulted in one of the Pioneers two scores on the day.
Garbowski led the blue & gold with 14 tackles. Six of his tackles were solo and two were for a loss. He also forced a fumble. On the year, Garbowski leads the team with 58 tackles.
The Pioneers travel to St. John Fisher on Friday for a 7 p.m. battle with the Cardinals.
