Alfaro and Goodwin Named All-Academic
Alfred State football players Chris Alfaro (Bellmore) and Zach Goodwin (Poughkeepsie/F.D. Roosevelt) have been named the USCAA National All-Academic team. Both upperclassmen hold above a 3.5 GPA.
- Alfaro, a sophomore linebacker, holds a 3.55 GPA in Human Services Management.
- Goodwin, the team's junior punter and place kicker, holds a 3.52 GPA in Architecture.
Alfaro and Goodwin were two the eight players in the USCAA to receive this honor. The USCAA has five schools that sponsor football programs.
