  • Alfred State and Kentucky Wesleyan are 700 miles apart. This is the longest road trip of the season for the Pioneers.
  • The Pioneers put together a strong 2nd half vs. Fisher last week holding the Cardinals to no points and out-gaining them 125 to 18 in the 2nd half.
  • The Panthers offense had their best game of the season last week racking up 563 total yards. Keelan Cole had a monster game with 319 all-purpose yards with 278 coming on eight receptions. He also caught five touchdown passes.
  • The blue & gold defense will hope to be closer to full strength this week as four starters did not dress last week. The combination of John Garbowski, Kenneth Nelson, and Steven Hubick continues lead the way with 64, 53, and 41 tackles respectively. John Lauretti led the way with eight tackles while Chris Monteiro and Calvin Felker each had seven vs. Fisher.
  • Yorell Branch has been key to Panther defense with three of the teams six interceptions. Kentucky Wesleyan has forced 12 turnovers on the season.
  • Zack Goodwin continues his solid season. He was named the USCAA Special Teams Player of the Week for the 2nd team this season. He has punted 52 times and is averaging 34.3 yards. He has four 50+ yard punts and five punts inside the 20.
  • The Pioneers will need to convert on 3rd downs (21 for 109) and take advantage of their opportunites in the Red-Zone (3 scores in 10 trips - including 0 for 2 last week).
