Week in Review:

Men's Basketball: 3-4, 0-1 AMCC

Penn State Altoona defeated Alfred State 106-95 in a wild AMCC opener on Sunday afternoon. The game featured five leads changes and four ties.

Josh Reding (Spencerport) led the Pioneers with 21 points and four assists as five players finished in double-figures. Basheem Wilkerson (Brooklyn/John Jay) had 13 off the bench, Paris Jamison (Brooklyn/East Side Community) and Ryan Rosa (Middletown) both finished with 12, and Tavion Williams (Bronx/FDA) had 11 points and nine boards.

Women's Basketball: 4-2, 1-0 AMCC

The women's basketball team won a pair of games this past week. They defeated Keuka 67-54 and opened up AMCC play with a 70-55 win over Penn State Altoona.

My'ana Davis (Greece Athena), Skylar Shaulis (Ovid/South Seneca), and Emily Kelley (Andover) led the way in the win at Keuka. Davis scored 14 of her game-high 20 points in the 4th quarter. Shaulis finished with 19 points and 18 rebounds while Kelley had 10 points and 14 boards. Savannah Ambuski (Canisteo Greenwood) came off the bench and had six points and nine rebounds.

Alfred State never trailed as they defeated Penn State Altoona on Sunday. Davis led ASC with 20 points, nine boards, and five assists. Kelley had a big all around game finishing with 13 points, 16 rebounds, seven assists, and seven blocks. Shaulis also added 13 points and Ivette Lewandowski (Springville Griffith) added 11 points off the bench.

Men's Swimming & Diving: 4-0 - 1st place Oberlin Invitational 

Women's Swimming & Diving: 4-1 - 7th place Oberlin Invitational

The swimming & diving teams had the week off and won't return to competition until January 8th when they compete at the FIU Invitational.

Indoor Track & Field:

The 2021-22 track & field season kicks off on Friday when the Pioneers travel across Allegany County to compete in the Houghton Invitational.

Wrestling: 4-2

The wrestling team had Thanksgiving week off but returns to action on Saturday at the RIT Invitational.
